About the Event
On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, Houston Press will host its 10th annual food and wine extravaganza from 7-10pm at Silver Street Station (1500 Silver Street) off Washington Ave. The Menu of Menus Extravaganza presented by Stella Artois will showcase the various culinary talents of our city, complete with food sampling from over 40 area restaurants alongside wine, beer and spirit sampling. New this year, the event will feature the first Iron Fork Competition presented by Whole Foods Market. Celebrity Chef Monica Pope of t'afia will moderate two top chefs as they go head-to-head to produce the best dish using our basket of secret ingredients. Musical Entertainment provided by Faye Robinson & The Mid City Players. Tickets on sale now. Ticket Pricing - General Admission: $55. VIP Tickets: $90. Your VIP Ticket includes entrance into the event 1 hour prior to the general public and complimentary valet before 6:30pm. Menu of Menus Extravaganza is sponsored by Stella Artois, Momentum Audi, Momentum Volkswagen, Zaaz Studios, Izkali Tequila, St. Germain, 2DayPostcards, The Wave, Houston First Corporation, Admiral Linen, Flowers by Nino and Kitchen Incubator.

March 7, 2012 - Whole Foods Market to host a Mighty Chef Cooking Competition on Saturday, March 10th from 2pm - 3:30pm at the Whole Foods Market Montrose location. Katharine Shilcutt, Houston Press Food Critic will be judging along side Monica Pope, celebrity chef of t'afia. Come out to watch the competition - one lucky audience member will win a pair of tickets to Menu of Menus Extravaganza.
